Rajanjot is also known as Baal jhad. This herb is primarily used as a dyeing and colouring agent for fabrics, soap and lip balms. Ratanjot is traditionally used for its therapeutic properties. The part of the herb used is the root. This herb, when used with oil, helps arrest hair fall, baldness and premature greying. Oil infused with this herb promotes hair growth. It is a natural hair conditioner and helps gain hair as well as volume. Ratanjot acts as a powerful sun-blocking herb and can heal wounds and burns alike. The smell of this herb is a little bit strong; it may bother sensitive noses.
